Grand Palace nr Champs Elysees. Being renovated, so this was taken through glass. Used as an exhibition centre- beats Jeff's shed?

View from upper ramparts of Pantheon. Looking towards Sacre Coeur Basilica on far hill, Notre Dame Upper rt , overlooking part of Sorbonne

Victor Hugo, Emile Zola & Alexander Dumas buried in this vault in crypts below Pantheon.

Central & one side dome @ Pantheon. We should be domed-out by now, but they have a beauty all their own.

Foucault's Pendulum experiment, Pantheon

No- we didn't go up it- the queue's were too long

How do they do it?

Tourist crowds in Monmatre.

There are a lot of steps in Montmatre. This is near our hotel, so our legs really got a workout.

Pantheon is in St Germain, nr Sorbonne University. Began life as a church but is now a monument to the great of France. Many writers, philosophers, scientists, politicians, soldiers etc are buried in the crypt below, with much pomp.
It's also a beautiful building, particularly inside, with a fabulous view if you take a supervised tour to the upper levels............J
